Can you please let me know how are you using QuickOPC from your project: Are you referencing the assemblies deployed by the standalone installer, or are you using NuGet packages?
Thank you

Thanks for the kind cooperation.
We will put this feature into the plan. Please do not take this as a promise - but as a very high probability.
I will contact when there is an update.

We would be happy to see that feature in the next year's release and would also act as a Beta tester for this feature.
You can reach me anytime by mail.
Best regards
Henning

I believe you are referring to RegisterNodes/UnregisterNodes services ( reference.opcfoundation.org/v104/Core/docs/Part4/5.8.5/ , reference.opcfoundation.org/v104/Core/docs/Part4/5.8.6/ ). QuickOPC (as of 2021.2 or shortly upcoming 2021.3) currently does not support or use them.
We have that on a list of possible enhancements, but have not scheduled the development of it yet.
Your request may be a contributing factor to put it on development schedule sooner, possibly into 2022.1 version.
Would you be willing to act as a Beta tester for this feature in such case?
Best regards

We are currently using QuickOPC to communicate with a Siemens plc. Since we want to read and write as fast as possible, we came upon the registered read/write functionality of OPC UA, which deacreases read and write time significantly. The opc server on the plc supports this feature and we could sucessfully test the feature with another OPC client.
As we are currently using QuickOPC and also bought a license two years ago, we where wondering if this feature is currently planned or if this feature is already implemented and we just don't know how to use it.
Some info:
Current QuickOPC Version: 5.61.343
Current License: QuickOPC Ultimate Site License (With 5 Years Upgrade Assurance)
Sincerely
Henning
