I think you should primarily complain about the issue to the server vendor and have them investigate.

If that fails to give an answer, we will need to troubleshoot the communication in detail. For that, please follow the instructions here: kb.opclabs.com/Collecting_information_for_troubleshooting .

1) The server is the built-in opc server from codesys

2) No we haven't tried this, yet.

3) We are also subscribing our variables, but in this case there are no updates in this time period.

The connection is reastablishing after trying to write values, but the values will be not written automatically after this. We have to write values again after the connection was reastablished.

What further actions can we take to resolve this issue? Providing different parameters to the session can not resolve this?

I do not think this is anything wrong on your side.
It may be a problem in the OPC server; less likely, in QuickOPC. We will need to investigate.

1) Which OPC server are you connecting to?

2) Out of curiosity, have you tried approximately the same approach with some other server (incl. our public OPC UA servers), and if so, what were the results?

3) Are you also subscribing to something, or is it just reads/writes?

Hello,

After we successfully connected the client to the server and created a mapping which reads correct values and is also able to modify the values on the server we got the issue, that after 60 seconds without any interaction we receive a BadRequestTimeout/BadSessionIdInvalid message when we try to modify the values again.
Is there a way to prevent this? Some settings we may missed?

As long as we keep changing the values the connection stays stable. I guess we are running into a timeout, maybe from the server.

best regards
