I should rephrase my original question..
Is there any plans to support ans1 9.0.1 so I don't get warnings on my end?
Thanks

The link I shared shows that version 8.0.1 of System.Formats.Asn1 supports net9.0. Correlate the light blue background of "net9.0" with the legend near the bottom of the page, where the same color denotes "Compatible with target framework(s)". The target framework does *not* have to be on the dark blue background for it to work. Frameworks that are not supported do not appear on the page at all.
You are also wrong about the build error. It is a warning only. It actually says it right there, at the beginning of the message you posted.
It only stops your build because in your settings, you have "warnings as errors" turned on. Turn it off.

Post here the error message you get from the build, and a small project that demonstrates the problem.

If there is somewhere information to the contrary, I would be glad if you let me know. Or, if there is a problem under .NET 9 specifically.
