Hello,
thank you for your interest in our products.
The 5.2x license will not work with 5.1x product, but if you indicate to us (during the purchase of 5.2x version or any time later), we will also provide you with a license file for version 5.1x, free of charge.
The recommended approach is

If you are near the end of your development cycle, and you have developed with 5.1x, then continue using it, and install 5.1x license
For new developments or when you are just starting, switch to 5.2x now.

Best regards,
Zbynek Zahradnik, OPC Labs

Hello,
We are in the process of purchasing a QuickOPC.NET development + runtime free license. Since the current version is v5.20, I am assuming that the license will be related to that version. Unfortunately, we downloaded the QuickOPC.NET package this past spring when it was v5.12. The application we built at that time was using this v5.12 version.
My question is, will the v5.20 runtime license allow our small v5.12 related application to fully run (using the v5.12 DLLs packaged with it) or will we need to recompile? Or can we just drop in the newer v5.20 DLLs without recompiling?
Thank you.
