Thank you for your answer.

So Visual studio version 2017 cannot be used with version 2023.1 and visual studio version 2022 cannot be used with version 2023.1 (components are not displayed in the Toolbox).

In addition, I still get exceptions no matter what version of Visual Studio I am using...

Seems that I am in a deadlock...

Your help is mostly appreciated.

Hello.

1. Only Visual Studio 2022. And, after release of QuickOPC 2023.1, Microsoft has made a breaking change in VS 2022 Toolbox that is difficult to resolve ( we want to resolve it in QuickOPC 2023.2), so for the toolbox/designer support, the VS 2022 revision must not be newer than VS 17.4.0.

1. Which version of Visual Studio is supported for version 2023.1?

2. What is the latest version of Quick OPC that supports Visual Studio 2017?

VS 2017 is not supported by QuickOPC 2023.1.

It may work for building. But any toolbox/IDE integration features: forget it.

Hi,

I have created a new project (assuming there is a problem with my upgraded project from earlier version of Quick OPC).
I have installed the 2 Nugget packages (version 5.71.334).
I am using Visual Studio 2017.

When I try to add a Quick OPC component, I get an error. See the attached screen capture.

Any idea what is the problem?
