Are you correct in explaining that even if the OPC DA Server is turned off for more than a day and then turned on again,

the OPC DA Client program can reconnect and receive data just by continuously calling the ReadXXXX function?

Hello.

QuickOPC handles the connections and reconnections fully automatically. You do not need to care about them. Yes, you can simply continue calling the ReadXXXX method, that is precisely how we envisioned the usage of the product.

Read: opclabs.doc-that.com/files/onlinedocs/OPCLabs-OpcStudio/Late...tml#Connection%20handling.html .

I hope this helps
Best regards

In a situation where data is being read every second from the OPC DA Server using the ReadMultipleItems function,

If the OPC DA Server is shut down for a certain period of time (for example, about a day) and then turned on again,

Can the OPC DA Client automatically reconnect to the OPC DA Server and read data normally just by continuously calling the ReadMultipleItems function?
