QuickOPC handles the low-level stuff for you.

For example, it automatically hooks to the IOPC_Shutdown connection point, and it disconnects the client from the server when the OPC server asks for it. QuickOPC gives you a notification (or error) when this happens. After a configurable period, QuickOPC connects automatically again.

Dear Sir,
it is not quite clear what you are looking for. Can you please clarify.

If you have not yet developed an application using QuickOPC, and you want to develop it using COM-based tools (this includes native C/C++), please refer to the "Concepts" document, Chapter 3.4: Development Libraries.

If you have already developed your application, and need to make an installation on a separate computer, please refer to the "Concepts" document, Section 8: Application Deployment.

The main "Concepts" document is installed with the product as PDF, and available from the Start menu. You can also access it here: www.opclabs.com/download/file/181-concepts-quickopc .

The files you have listed (opccomm.h etc.) are not needed for development with QuickOPC.

Best regards
