AllowedMessageSecurityModes Property (EasyUAServerEngineParameters)

OpcLabs.ServerOpcUA Assembly > OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.Engine Namespace > EasyUAServerEngineParameters Class : AllowedMessageSecurityModes Property
Defines the message security modes that the servers are allowed to use.
Syntax
'Declaration

Public Property AllowedMessageSecurityModes As UAMessageSecurityModes
'Usage

Dim instance As EasyUAServerEngineParameters
Dim value As UAMessageSecurityModes

instance.AllowedMessageSecurityModes = value

value = instance.AllowedMessageSecurityModes
public UAMessageSecurityModes AllowedMessageSecurityModes {get; set;}
public:
property UAMessageSecurityModes AllowedMessageSecurityModes {
   UAMessageSecurityModes get();
   void set (    UAMessageSecurityModes value);
}

Property Value

The default value of this property is All (UAMessageSecurityModes.All).

Because there is an implicit conversion from UAMessageSecurityModes to UAEndpointSelectionPolicy, you can simply use the returned UAMessageSecurityModes in any place where UAEndpointSelectionPolicy is expected as input, and the corresponding endpoint selection policy will be constructed automatically from the message security modes. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the UAEndpointSelectionPolicy.FromUAMessageSecurityModes static method instead.

Exceptions
ExceptionDescription

An invalid enumeration value was used.

This is a usage error, i.e. it will never occur (the exception will not be thrown) in a correctly written program. Your code should not catch this exception.

Remarks

The OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.EasyUAServerCore objects cannot use the message security modes that are not in AllowedMessageSecurityModes, even if they specify them in their OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.IEasyUAServer.MessageSecurityModes. This means that the AllowedMessageSecurityModes can be used to impose a global restriction. For example, setting AllowedMessageSecurityModes to UAMessageSecurityModes.Secure will prohibit the server objects from using UAMessageSecurityModes.SecurityNone.

Requirements
