DiscoveryHost Property (EasyUAClientInstanceParameters)

The name of the machine that runs the discovery server that will be used for discovery tasks.

Property Value

The value of this property cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The default value of this property is "localhost".

Exceptions
ExceptionDescription

A null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) is passed to a method that does not accept it as a valid argument.

This is a usage error, i.e. it will never occur (the exception will not be thrown) in a correctly written program. Your code should not catch this exception.

Remarks

In order to obtain or modify this parameter, access OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.EasyUAClientCore.InstanceParameters.

Not directly used on COM platform by any of the OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.ComTypes._EasyUAClient methods, because wherever applicable, they always include an argument that specifies this value explicitly.

The getter method of this property is pure, i.e. it does not have observable side effects.
