'Declaration
Public Overloads Function Equals( _ ByVal other As DAPropertyDescriptor _ ) As Boolean
'Usage
Dim instance As DAPropertyDescriptor Dim other As DAPropertyDescriptor Dim value As Boolean value = instance.Equals(other)
public bool Equals( DAPropertyDescriptor other )
public: bool Equals( DAPropertyDescriptor^ other )
Parameters
- other
- The object to compare members to.
Because the DAPropertyDescriptor has an implicit conversion from System.Int64, DAPropertyIds, System.Xml.XmlQualifiedName, System.String, DAPropertyId and OpcLabs.EasyOpc.DataAccess.AddressSpace.DAPropertyElement, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use a such values in place of this parameter, and the corresponding OPC DA property descriptor will be constructed automatically. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the FromInt64, FromDAPropertyIds, FromXmlQualifiedName, FromDAPropertyId or FromDAPropertyElementstatic method instead.
The value of this parameter can be
null
(Nothing
in Visual Basic).
Return Value
true
iff the member values equal.
